Unstable weather. Cloudy with occasional showers during the day and night. Relativly cold for the time of year. Tempratures range from 3° C (37° F) on the seaside to 5° C (41° F) in the city and inland. During a sunny days tempratures may rise to 7° C (44° F). Strong breeze to moderate gale from west to south-west.

Seaside
Up north and down south of the city lies the seaside and the beach. The seaside was an untouched part of nature, protected by the Hemmum Province. The beach itself was a busy place in summer. With pavilions, little tourist shops and small cafe's and restaurants. Now it lies more abandoned then ever. Some parts of the seaside close to the city, lie close to the Deathlok's territory.
The seaside stretches along the whole lenght of the province and beyond, and consits of smaller and larger beaches interwoven into a dune like landscape, the dune landcape is about a km wide. The dunes were protected reserves and hold a variaty of wildlife and flora and has a unique ecosystem. The dunes were the natural defense for high tides and made sure the lands behind wouldn't be flooded by the sea water.

Gaia Forest
The large forest on the norhern side of the province has been renamed by the local tribes to 'Gaia Forest'. The forest can be both a dangerous and a safe place. Naturally a lot of food and natural materials can be found in the forests if you know what you can eat and how to gather it. But its easy to get lost or eat something thats poisenous. Rumours go spirits live in this forest, as strange noises sometimes can be heard coming from deep in the forest.
